Mr. Korschot is the President of Stern Brothers Valuation Advisors and has been involved in the areas of finance and business appraisal since 1976.  Prior to joining Stern Brothers & Co. in 1984, he served as a Group Vice President (Commercial Banking) with Mercantile Bank (now U.S. Bank).

Mr. Korschot has achieved the highest professional designations awarded in the business valuation profession.  Our research has found that there are fewer than 10 professionals in the United States that have achieved this combination of professional designations directly related to business valuation.  He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA”), having successfully passed three comprehensive, rigorous examinations involving equity and fixed income securities analysis, financial accounting, quantitative analysis, economics, portfolio management, and ethical and professional standards.  He has completed the Accredited Senior Appraiser (“ASA”) and Certified Business Appraiser (“CBA”) designations that require extensive training, knowledge, and experience involving business valuations.  He is a Licensed Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”) in the State of Missouri and Kansas and is Accredited in Business Valuation (“ABV”) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants which requires training in business valuation.  Mr. Korschot has a B.A. in Economics from DePauw University, an M.B.A. from St. Louis University and is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University.

Mr. Korschot has issued over 4,000 valuation reports since 1985.  His clients include both privately held and publicly traded companies, and their attorneys and accountants for which he has served as independent appraiser, financial advisor or expert witness.

Mr. Korschot serves on the Board of Directors of Stern Brothers Valuation Advisors, Goodwill Industries of Western Missouri and Eastern Kansas, Missouri United Methodist Foundation, and has served on the Board of Directors of Olympic Wire Rope, Bingham & Company Capital Markets, Inc. and the Kansas City Society of Financial Analysts.  Mr. Korschot is past President of the American Society of Appraisers (Kansas City Chapter), past Regional Governor of the Institute of Business Appraisers, Inc., and past President of the Kansas City Society of Financial Analysts.  He is a member of numerous professional and civic organizations and associations including the American Society of Appraisers, the CFA Institute, and The Institute of Business Appraisers, Inc., the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Kiwanis Club.  He is a member of The ESOP Association, The National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO) and the Employee-owned S Corporations of America (ESCA).  He is past President of the Heart of America Chapter of the ESOP Association, past Chair of the Valuation Advisory Committee, past Vice Chair of the State and Regional Chapter Council and has served on the Board of Governors of The ESOP Association.  He co-authored the book An Introduction to ESOP Valuations.

Mr. Korschot has lectured frequently on valuation issues to groups such as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Robert Morris Associates, the Cambridge Institute, UMKC Law School, UMKC Bloch School of Business, the Estate Planning Society of Kansas City, The ESOP Association, The National Center for Employee Ownership, the American Society of Appraisers and at seminars across the United States.  He has appeared before U.S. Federal Courts and others as an expert witness and testifies frequently concerning valuation issues.

Mr. Jones is an Executive Vice President of Stern Brothers Valuation Advisors and has been involved in the areas of accounting, finance and business valuation since 1982.  Mr. Jones has served as Controller and Chief Financial Manager of a natural gas marketing, pipeline and exploration company (GasTrak Corporation).  Prior to joining Stern Brothers & Co. in 1984, he was employed by Allstate Insurance Company.

Mr. Jones has achieved some of the highest professional designations awarded in the business valuation profession.  He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA”), an Accredited Senior Appraiser (“ASA”), and a Certified Business Appraiser (“CBA”).  Mr. Jones has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Economics from the University of Kansas.

Mr. Jones is the past President and now serves as the Treasurer of the American Society of Appraisers (Kansas City Chapter).  He is a member of numerous professional and civic organizations and associations including the American Society of Appraisers, the CFA Institute and The Institute of Business Appraisers, Inc.  He has appeared in court as an expert witness concerning valuation issues.

Ms. Fry is an Executive Vice President of Stern Brothers Valuation Advisors and has been involved in the areas of accounting, finance, and business appraisal since 1978.  Prior to joining Stern Brothers & Co. in 1987, she was employed by Kroh Brothers Development Company, Fairbanks Morse Pump, and Touche Ross & Co.  From 1978 to 1984, she reported to the Partner in Charge of Management Consulting at Touche Ross & Co (now Deloitte). 

Ms. Fry has achieved some of the highest professional designations awarded in the business valuation profession.  She is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (“ASA”) and a Certified Business Appraiser (“CBA”).  Ms. Fry has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Central Missouri State University (University of Central Missouri).

She is a member of numerous professional and civic organizations and associations including the American Society of Appraisers, the CFA Institute and The Institute of Business Appraisers, Inc.

Mr. York is a Senior Vice President of Stern Brothers Valuation Advisors and has been involved in the areas of auditing, finance, and business appraisal since 1976.  Prior to joining Stern Brothers in 2005, he worked in various capacities including Controller or Chief Financial Officer with ESOT Resources, Inc., Recovery Management Corp., Darling Envelope, Corp., House of Lloyd, Inc., Coldwell Banker Residential R.E., Calmar, Inc., Cabot Corporation and Audit Supervisor for PricewaterhouseCoopers.  He has been involved in a consulting practice in charge of financial forecasting and debt structure design for employee stock ownership plan implementation.

Mr. York has achieved some of the highest professional designations awarded in the business valuation profession.  He is a Licensed Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”), in the state of Missouri and Kansas and is Accredited in Business Valuation (“ABV”) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants which requires training in business valuation.  He has completed the Accredited Senior Appraiser (“ASA”) with a designation in Intangible Assets and Certified Business Appraiser (“CBA”) designations that require extensive training, knowledge, and experience involving business valuations.  Mr. York has a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Missouri and an M.B.A. with a specialization in Finance from Northern Illinois University.

Mr. York has served on the Board of Directors of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (CPA’s). He is the President of the American Society of Appraisers in Kansas City and past President of the Kansas City Chapter of the Missouri Society of CPA’s. Mr. York is the Advancement Chair for the Thunderbird District of the Heart of America Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He serves on the Board of Directors and the Investment Committee of the Missouri United Methodist Foundation. Mr. York is a member of numerous professional and civic organizations and associations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Missouri Society of CPA’s, the American Society of Appraisers, and The Institute of Business Appraisers, Inc. (IBA). He is a member of the AICPA Employee Stock Ownership Plan Valuation Whitepaper Taskforce and a member of the Professional Responsibility Board of the IBA.

Ms. McCall is a Senior Vice President of Stern Brothers Valuation Advisors.  She has been involved in the banking and business appraisal field since 1978.  Prior to joining Stern Brothers in 1998, she was a Senior Client Manager for Boatman’s Bank (now Bank of America) in the Commercial Banking Division, working with middle market clients to deliver debt related products.  Ms. McCall has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Central Missouri State University (University of Central Missouri). 

Ms. McCall has been involved in a wide variety of community activities including various officers’ positions with the Junior League.  Ms. McCall is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (“ASA”) which requires extensive training, knowledge, and experience in business valuation.

She is a member of professional organizations including the American Society of Appraisers.
