Richard Stern

Richard J. Stern​

Richard J. Stern spent his entire business career with Stern Brothers, a firm founded in 1917 by his father Sigmund and two uncles (Morris and Henry Stern). He served as President and Chief Executive Officer from 1956 to 1986. Richard received his undergraduate degree from Yale University and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.

Benjamin C. Korschot

Benjamin C. Korschot

Benjamin C. Korschot was influential in the business career of his son John C. Korschot. Ben was President of Waddell & Reed and had worked with Richard Stern over the years and suggested that John interview for a position with Stern Brothers in 1984. John was hired by Richard and within six years John Korschot, Terry Fry and Dave Jones formed Stern Brothers Valuation Advisors. Ben received his undergraduate degree from Purdue University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.

Terry Hensley

Teresa A. (Terry) Hensley

Terry Hensley was a co-founder of Stern Brothers Valuation Advisors shortly after joining Stern Brothers & Company in 1987. Ms. Hensley was an Executive Vice President of Stern Brothers Valuation Advisors and had been involved in the areas of finance, accounting, and business valuation since 1978. She began her career in accounting and consulting with Touche Ross & Co. (now Deloitte) followed by positions with Fairbanks Morse Pump Corporation and Kroh Brothers Development Company. Ms. Hensley achieved some of the highest professional designations awarded in the business valuation profession. She was an Accredited Senior Appraiser (“ASA”) and a Certified Business Appraiser (“CBA”). Ms. Hensley has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Central Missouri State University (University of Central Missouri).
